Samsung Galaxy S5: How to Set Email Addresses or Contacts as Priority Senders in Email App in Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

As same as the priority senders feature in the stock Messaging app, the priority senders feature in the stock Email app also lets you to set contacts that you communicate with frequently as priority senders. By adding email addresses or contacts with email addresses to the priority senders list in the stock Email app, you cannot only have a different inbox to help you manage email messages from priority senders with more easily, but also adjust settings for them separately, for instance: set different tone for incoming email messages from priority senders, set the app to show the priority senders inbox whenever you open the stock Email app, etc.

  1. I have an S5 with OS 6.0.1. I've set up a list of priority senders for text to voice via language and input. There is one person for which this will not work. I have deleted her and re added her to the list, deleted and re added her to contacts, and am just running out of ideas. It's my daughter and she lives overseas. Help!
