Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Delete or Reorder Apps in Apps Edge in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

If you have enabled the apps edge feature in your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and added your favourite apps, you can easily access to those apps from the edge screen regardless the screen or app you're opening, in condition that you have set the edge screen handle to be displayed in all screens. When needed, you can also manage apps you have added in the apps edge, for instance: remove unused apps or change the order of apps.


How to delete or reorder apps in the apps edge feature?
You can do so by using two different methods: from the settings menu and from the edge screen.


Method #1: From the settings menu
You can delete or reorder apps in the apps edge via the settings menu by using the following steps:
  1. While the screen is unlocked, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to the Device section and then tap Edge screen.
  3. Tap Apps edge. All apps you have added to this feature will be displayed here.
  4. Tap Edit at the top right.
  5. To remove an app from the apps edge feature, tap at the required app. The selected app will be removed.
  6. To change the order of apps in the apps edge feature, tap and hold next to the required app and then drag it to the required position.
  7. Tap the Back key to return to the Apps edge menu.


Method #2: From the edge screen
You can delete or reorder apps in the apps edge via the edge screen by using the following steps:
  1. To open the edge screen, drag the edge screen handle towards the centre the screen.
  2. The edge screen will display people edge at the first place. Thus, you have to swipe across the screen again to access the apps edge.
  3. To remove an app from the apps edge, tap and hold an app icon and then drag it to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen. The selected app will be removed.
  4. To change the order of apps in the apps edge, tap and hold an app icon and then drag it to the required position.
  5. Tap the Back key to close the edge screen.
