Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Enable Auto Haptic Feature in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Auto haptic is one of accessibility features in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that will convert all media sounds into a vibration. When this feature is enabled, your phone will vibrate in time to the sound when you're playing game to enhance your mobile gaming experience, watching videos or playing music to automatically incorporate vibration effect so you can feel the sounds via vibration. Your phone will also vibrate when you tap the Recent apps key and the Back key in supported apps.

How to enable the auto haptic feature?
As the example, we'll turn on this feature by using two different methods: from the settings menu and from the direct access menu(it can be done if you have enabled the direct access feature).

Method #1: From the settings menu
  1. In any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Personal section and then tap Accessibility.
  3. Tap Hearing.
  4. Scroll the screen to the very bottom and then slide the ON/OFF switch next to Auto haptic to the right to enable this option.
  5. A pop up window appears on the screen to tell you some information about auto haptic and warn you that this feature may consume more battery. Tap Enable to continue turning on this feature.
  6. Auto haptic feature has been enabled.
