Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Reset Network Settings Back to Factory Default Settings in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

If needed, you can perform a network settings reset to return Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other network settings back to its factory default settings. You can do this when you want to have new customizations of your network settings without you have to change settings one by one, to unpair all paired Bluetooth devices at once, to forget all Wi-Fi network connections at once, etc.

How to reset the network settings back to the factory default settings?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Backup and reset and then tap it.
  3. Scroll down the screen and then tap Reset network settings.
  4. You'll be informed that doing this action will reset all network settings, including those for Wi-Fi, mobile data and Bluetooth. If you'd like to continue, tap Reset settings button.
  5. Perform your current screen lock type. As the example, if you set the screen lock type to pattern, draw your screen lock pattern to continue the process.
  6. You'll be informed again that doing this action will reset all connections settings and it cannot be undone. If you'd like to continue, tap Reset settings button.
  7. All network settings have been reset to their defaults. Now, you can make new customizations for your network settings according to your need.
